SWASA Certification Mark Design Competition
Swaziland Standards Authority is running a competition for the best certification mark design competition. A certification mark is used primarily as means of indicating that a product or service meets a certain level of quality as specified in a standard. Such a mark may be used by various stakeholders, e.g. consumers who may use it to easily identify quality commodities; manufacturers who may use the mark as means of communicating the fact that their product(s) meet recognised standards of quality; and exporters who will use the mark as proof that their products meet international standards and are thus safe for export into any market.
The Swaziland Standards Authority was established in 2007 and has since then been working on the development and adoption of internationally recognized Swaziland National Standards (SZNS).
he winning entries in this competition stand to win prizes worth E20,000.00 made up of cash prizes worth E5,000.00, E3,000.00 and E2,000.00 as well as SWASA branded novelties.
