When Google Controls your life

Perhaps the story of the moment concerns Google’s newly launched service , Google Buzz , set to revolutionally change the world of social networking .
I have been thinking , It really is quite surprising  how much Google knows about our businesses, adverts we should see, directions to take to my next appointment of the day, personal lives, organize my documents and memos , manage my appointment, search habits and even what we like to do on the weekend – if you are signed in to your Google account that is.  For some of us we earn a substantial monthly income from Google Adsense.

The Google Dashboard essentially summarises everything you do within all the Google products that includes:

  • Gmail
  • Calendar
  • Docs
  • Web History
  • YouTube
  • Orkut
  • Picasa
  • Reader
  • Alerts
  • Talk
  • Google Adsense
  • Google Maps

Is not concerning to people that Google knows what pictures you store in Picasa, what news articles you like to tune in to, what video’s you like to watch and who is emailing you? Given this, it is little wonder they have come up with Google Wave – set to revolutionise the world of communication.
