Everton vs Manchester United: Ouch! Cheater Wayne Rooney To Be Roasted
?Cheater? Wayne Rooney has got his name all over in the news following private life issues. Now Everton fans could make life even more difficult for the ex-Toffee who should feature in the Everton vs Manchester United English Premier League match this weekend.
It has been reported that police will step up security on Saturday during the game. As for Everton defender Phil Jagielka, he expects Wayne Rooney to have things tough when the forward will play at Goodison Park under a Manchester United shirt. When asked if the 24-year-old would receive a hostile treatment by Everton fans, Jagielka told The Sun ahead of the encounter:
?There?s a good chance. He normally gets quite a bit of stick anyway. I can?t see that changing.?
A distracted Wayne Rooney could affect Manchester United?s chances of clinching three points against the Toffees. But Phil Jagielka believes that the Red Devil is mentally strong and that he can get over his private life affairs on the football pitch.
?I?m sure that Wayne can deal with it. He is a tough lad, and he will let his football do the talking.?
Earlier on Tuesday, Wayne Rooney scored as England defeated Switzerland 3-1 in the Euro 2012 qualifiers. Against Everton, goals from Wazza, who hasn?t scored from open play for Manchester United since the end of last season, will be vital; not only for the Red Devils, but for the player at an individual level.
Manchester United are third in the English Premier League standings with seven points like second-placed Arsenal. They?ll secure the top spot for at least a few hours should they beat Everton on Saturday.
