The latest news in the iOS space is that version 5 of iOS is going to bring integrated artificial intelligence. Along with this comes voice control from Siri. Siri was acquired by Apple during the course of 2010 and brings AI and assistance technology with them to enhance voice command support for users.
With other mobile operating system, like Android, advancing at rapid rates, Apple clearly knows that they need to push hard to stay up with their competitors. Staying up with the competitors involves hiring voice technology experts to assist with the developments of iOS 5.
