Jeremy Renner does not play Jason Bourne in this? film. He plays a different character. This film is set after the events in the original Bourne trilogy. Matt Damon is not shown in this trailer because Jason Bourne probably won’t feature in this movie. It is based on a book written by Eric Lustbader, not one of the original three written by Robert Ludlum. Matt Damon has stated that he will not do another Bourne movie without the original director Paul Greengrass. Hope that clears things up
